Report Property Damage Caused by Severe Weather - The Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) encourages Texas citizens to report damage to property by submitting a damage assessment survey. This survey is the first step in applying for an application for financial relief due to loss from the storm. Once you access the website, scroll down to "March Severe Weather" to start the survey.

2021-2022 Adopted Budget
Montague County adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 3.96% and will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $21.50.
